<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight vacuum cleaner capable of securing a sufficient dust removing property in both AC power and DC power.SOLUTION: A lightweight vacuum cleaner includes: an electric blower 3 stored in a body and generating suction air; a suction implement 32 used in a state that the suction implement 32 contacts with a cleaned face, for sucking dust from the cleaned face; a dust scraping-up rotary brush 33 provided in the suction implement 32; an electric motor 26 capable of rotationally driving the rotary brush 33 by any of AC power supplied from a commercial power supply 1 and DC power supplied from a secondary battery 2; and signal control means 5 for supplying power of a first half portion and a latter half portion of a phase except the vicinity of a maximum amplitude of AC voltage supplied from the commercial power supply 1 to the electric motor 26 to nearly equalize the AC power with a value of the DC power. Thereby, the lightweight vacuum cleaner can secure sufficient dust removing performance in both the AC power and the DC power.</p> |
