The present invention relates to a writing recognition based font beautifying method and to a device thereof comprising a step for recognizing the writing data input of a user; a step for collecting the recognized writing data for each character and storing the same in a writing database; a step for filtering the writing data stored in the writing database by using a clustering method; and a step for beautifying the fonts of a terminal based on the writing data stored in the writing database. The present invention applies the writing features of the user to the fonts of the terminal based on the collected writing data.
