PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that suppresses stone-biting while securing heat radiation in a tread portion.SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, at least one circumferential groove extending along a tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of width-direction grooves that are opened at the circumferential groove, have a groove width at least in an opening portion to the circumferential groove, which is larger than a groove width in the circumferential groove, and extend obliquely with respect to the tire circumference direction, are formed on a tread surface. On a groove wall surface of the circumferential groove opposing to the width-direction grooves, a recessed portion is formed. Wall surfaces partitioned by the recessed portion are constituted of: an inclined surface that is inclined to the width-direction grooves from outside in a tire radial direction toward inside in the tire radial direction; and a curved surface that connects an inside end in the tire radial direction of the inclining surface to a bottom portion partitioned by the recessed portion and has a curvature center on a side near the width-direction grooves. A connection point between the inclined surface and the curved surface is positioned closer to inside in the tire radial direction as the connection point is closer to positions in the tire circumferential direction where widths W in the tire width direction of the recessed portion are smaller. |
