<p>An apparatus for monitoring a pipeline is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for monitoring a pipeline monitors a pipeline that provides a passage of a fluid produced from a deep-sea oil well. The apparatus includes a data providing unit configured to provide data for determining whether there is the abnormality of the flow of the fluid in the pipeline; and a central receiving unit configured to receive data provided from the data providing unit. The data providing unit includes a rotary wing arranged in the pipeline to be rotated by the flow of the fluid in the pipeline; a power generating unit configured to convert rotational energy of the rotary wing into electrical energy, and to generate data; and a transmitting unit operated by electricity generated by the power generating unit, and configured to transmit data.</p> |
