<p>A gasification furnace having, in the upper part of the external cylinder thereof, an internal cylinder for supplying solid fuel, is provided with: a stirring member which is inserted inside the inner cylinder and the longitudinal direction of which is the vertical direction of the gasification furnace; and a drive unit which raises and lowers the stirring member between a standby position estranged from solid fuel accumulating in the inner cylinder and a prescribed position located lower than the standby position in the solid fuel inside the gasification furnace. Therein, the drive unit is provided with a rotational drive unit which, during bridge elimination movements in which the stirring member is lowered, rotates the stirring member around a stirring member shaft.</p> |
