PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a white zirconia-sintered compact which can be obtained by sintering zirconia powder having fine particle size at the temperature lower than before when compared with the conventional white zirconia-sintered compact that is obtained by sintering the zirconia powder to which alumina or the like is added.SOLUTION: It is found out that lithium aluminosilicate such as spodumene becomes a sintering accelerator of zirconia and a trace amount of lithium silicate becomes a further excellent accelerator. The zirconia, to which these accelerators are added, has a clear white color and can be used as watch components, decorative components, daily components, portable electronic components and the like. |
