PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow singers to continue duet singing without making a partner uncomfortable or causing stress to the singers themselves even in a situation in which the continuation of singing is difficult due to difference in a singing level or the like in a communication karaoke system that communicatively connects a server and bases by transmission paths and allows singers to perform a communication duet between the bases.SOLUTION: A communication karaoke system comprises: a main body side storage unit (storage means) for storing singing record data recorded at a time of singing in advance regarding a music piece for karaoke performance in a communication duet and specified by a remote controller 26A; a karaoke main body 21A and the like (singing reproduction means) for reproducing, at a user side, a voice signal based on singing at a partner side, which has been transmitted from the partner side and received at the user side through the transmission path; and main body side control unit (reproduction control means) for controlling the karaoke main body 21A and the like so that voice based on the singing record data is output instead of singing voice based on the voice signal at the partner side triggered by an instruction from a singer at the user side.
