<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire molding drum device which reduces time and labors for adjusting drum width, and a drum width adjusting method using the same.SOLUTION: A tire molding drum device 1 is equipped with a center drum 2 having a drum outer peripheral surface 2S, side drums 3 on both sides of the center drum 2, and a center shaft 4 for supporting the center drum 2 and the side drums 3. The center drum 2 includes a plurality of segments 7, and a segment moving tool 8 for moving each segment 7. Each segment 7 is formed by a center segment piece 9 replaceably attached to the segment moving tool 8 at an equator position C, and side segment pieces 10 arranged on both side in an axial direction of the center segment piece 9 so as to come close to and separate from each other. The side segment pieces 10 are coupled to the side drums 3 so as to be integrally moved. Side drum moving means 12 capable of positioning each side drum 3 at a close state P1 and an open state P2 is provided.</p> |
