<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for shutting down a computer system in force is provided to reduce the power consumption of a batter by shutting down a computer system in force when the temperature of a battery continuously rises. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(100) receives event detection information and a power management signal, and a timer unit(200) measures a passage time from a reception time of event information. If the passage time is over a predetermined time, a decision unit(300) judges a system execution state by comparing the event detection information with the power management signal. If the system execution state is in an abnormal state, a compulsive terminal unit(400) terminates the system in force.</p> |
