PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage in cover sheet forming a peripheral part of a cover upon compressing the cover with a plurality of projecting parts on a peripheral surface of a rotation member for a purpose of enhancing rigidity in the cover of an absorber.SOLUTION: A cover of a laminated product is formed by covering the laminated product in which liquid absorbing materials are laminated, with a liquid-permeable cover sheet. The cover is passed between peripheral surfaces of a pair of rotation members which rotate in a manner where the cover is transferred along with transporting direction of the formed cover. The cover is compressed with a plurality of projecting parts arranged on the peripheral surface of at least one rotation member among the pair of rotation members in the passing process. The plurality of projecting parts are arranged between projecting parts adjacent to each other in rotating direction of the rotation members and projecting parts adjacent to each other in CD direction orthogonal to the rotating direction with an interval respectively. The projecting parts each have a horizontally long shape with longitudinal direction. The longitudinal direction of the projecting parts is along with the CD direction.
