PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffraction grating and an optical module capable of reflecting transmitted light having a different wavelength.SOLUTION: A diffraction grating 10 includes: a ferroelectric crystal substrate 11 in which a plurality of periodic polarization inversion structures 11r1 to r5 of different kinds from each other; insulation layers 12a and 12b disposed so as to interpose the ferroelectric crystal substrate 11; and electrode parts 20r1 to r6 that are disposed outside of the insulation layers 12a and 12b and independently apply voltage to each of the periodic polarization inversion structures 11r1 to r5 to generate an electric field.
