<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an error in voice recognition of terminology that is updated on a daily basis.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus, for use in recognizing input data, as character information constituted by a character string of a predetermined unit, on the basis of information related to a character string of a recognition target and performing processing on the basis of the recognized character information, performs: receiving input information that can be processed as a character; dividing the received input information into character strings of a predetermined processing unit; calculating a degree of popularity that is information related to a usage frequency in a predetermined period from a present time of an individual character string of the processing unit, on the basis of a history of appearance timing of each respective divided character string of the processing unit; and updating information related to a character string of a recognition target on the basis of the calculated degree of popularity.</p> |
