<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive system for improving a safety by a drive control considering the operation intention of a driver while keeping a fuel economy depression effect.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive system 100 for controlling the driving force of a self-vehicle in accordance with the operation of the driver comprises: a non-backlight detection unit 112 for detecting non-backlight; and a drive control unit 166 for controlling the driving force to be applied to wheels of the self-vehicle in accordance with a control input of an accelerator pedal 114. When the non-backlight is detected, the drive control unit decreases a surplus drive force made to correspond to the control input of the accelerator pedal. Thus, it is possible to realize the improvement in safety and the reduction of the fuel economy.</p> |
