The present invention provides a method and a device to recommend content, capable of recommending content having a subject similar to a subject of interest of a viewer by applying an LDA technique based on summary information of the content and generating a subject of interest of the viewer by using a view history of the viewer in order to consider the subject of interest of the viewer. The method includes a step of generating similarity between subject information of the content and interesting subject information of the viewer; and a step of determining recommendation content by using the similarity.
