PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower in which moisture having immersed in the inner circumference side space of an electric motor side rib is easily discharged to a scroll chamber.SOLUTION: An electric motor side rib 35 formed in an annular shape along a fan circumference direction and protruding toward a main plate is provided in an electric motor casing 3, and notched parts 35a are provided in the electric motor side ribs 35 and at portions facing a high-pressure region B in a scroll chamber 43. A portion of the moisture having flown into the scroll chamber 43 immerses across the electric motor side ribs 35 in a low-pressure region, in which the flow speed of the blown air is high, into the inner circumference side space of the electric motor side ribs 35. However, the moisture is pushed to the side of the notched parts 35a by the blown air immersing from the low pressure side in the scroll chamber 43 into the inner circumference side space of the electric motor side ribs 35, so that the moisture is discharged from the notched parts 35a to the scroll chamber 43. |
