<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric base material which can minimize the loss of reinforcing fibers due to a remaining part, causing a problem upon cutting out a necessary shape in a woven fabric, and can be manufactured at low cost while having a network structure characteristic of the woven fabric; to provide a method for weaving the same; and to provide a weaving machine.SOLUTION: A woven fabric base material of the present invention is manufactured by a weaving method of interweaving weft yarns between warp yarns. In the weaving method, when a weft yarn is drawn into a shed, a weft yarn cut piece obtained by cutting the weft yarn into a cut piece having any given length is arranged in any given position in the shed and interwoven, and the weft yarn is thereby arranged only in a necessary part. Thus, the amount of the weft yarns used as reinforcing fiber yarns can be reduced. In addition, with regard to the warp yarns, reinforcing fibers are arranged only in necessary parts, and other fibers are arranged in a remaining part generated upon cutting out a shape. As a result, the loss of the reinforcing fiber yarns can be reduced.</p> |
