<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker, on the assumption that it is used in a moving vehicle such as an automobile, that is specialized in a function of cooking rice and has superior compactness.SOLUTION: The electric rice cooker for moving vehicles includes; an inner pot 130; a heat-generating plate 132 stuckedly fixed to the bottom face of the inner pot 130; a heat insulator 120 directly wound around a side outer periphery of the inner pot 130; and a casing disposed to clamp the insulator at a further outer periphery of the insulator 120. The inner pot 130 includes a flange part 134 having an edge part of an insertion opening in which rice is put, the edge part having a diameter larger than those of other parts. The casing is divided into a side casing 100 located at the side face of the inner pot 130, and a bottom casing 110 located at a bottom face of the inner pot 130. An upper-face opening 104 of the side casing 100 has such a size that receives the inner pot 130 but catches the flange part 134 of the inner pot 130. The bottom casing 110 has a pulling mechanism that, when assembling, pulls the bottom face of the inner pot 130 downward.</p> |
