<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer which improves quality of a green sand mold by improving compressive strength in a wet state, air permeability, a compression rate, surface stability, and moisture content.SOLUTION: Provided is a stabilizer to be added to a green sand mold, and which includes a binder and an additive. The binder is a derivative of phenol, in which hydrogen atoms are substituted by multiple functional groups, and occupies 75 to 85% of the total weight. The additive contains multiple kinds of trace elements. A weight ratio of the binder to the additive is 4:1. By adding the stabilizer to a green sand mold, compressive strength of the green sand mold in a wet state and surface stability are remarkably improved.</p> |
