PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device, a display control method, and a program that are capable of further improving operability by effectively combining the relative coordinate operation and the absolute coordinate operation.SOLUTION: There is provided a display control device including an acquisition unit configured to acquire contact information of contact of an operation body on an operation surface, a display control unit that has a first function of moving a cursor 4 displayed on a display device in accordance with a change amount of a contact position indicated by the contact information acquired by the acquisition unit and a second function of displaying the cursor 4 at a position, on a given display area of the display device, corresponding to the contact position, and a switch unit configured to switch a function to be exerted by the display control unit between the first function and the second function. The switch unit exerts the second function when the acquisition unit has acquired first contact information of contact of the operation body on a given operation area 6 of the operation surface. |
