<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive substance adsorbent having cesium adsorption and iodine adsorption, and to provide a manufacturing method that can obtain this radioactive substance adsorbent simply with reduced work steps and at a low cost.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a radioactive substance adsorbent includes the steps of: (1) obtaining a mixture by mixing and adding at least a fiber member, a surface active agent and a proton acid in a solution containing an aniline monomer; (2) producing a polyaniline/fiber material composite with polyanilines connected to a fiber material, by adding an oxidizing agent to the mixture and polymerizing the aniline monomer; (3) doping at least one kind among an iron sulfate, an iron oxide, and an iron chloride to the polyaniline/fiber material composite; and (4), after the step (3), obtaining a polyaniline/prussian blue/fiber material composite with the polyanilines and prussian blue connected on the fiber material by further adding potassium ferrocyanide.</p> |
