<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control image quality in the same page, without changing toner consumption.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes two or more kinds of toner different in particle size, and is configured to select toner type to be arranged in the uppermost layer on a recording medium. A small-particle-size toner is arranged in the uppermost layer when a high-gloss image is formed, and a large-particle-size toner is arranged in the uppermost layer when a low-gloss image is formed, for each designated image area, and thereby the gloss in the same page is controlled.</p> |
