PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to form an image in an area avoiding perforations of a continuous sheet having feeding holes and the perforations, without using a tractor which feeds the continuous sheet by inserting pins into the feed holes of the continuous sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a feed hole detection sensor 14 which detects feed holes of a perforated continuous sheet when the perforated continuous sheet P having the feed holes and perforations is used; and a controller 20 which controls image-formation timing so that an image is formed in an area between two adjacent perforations of the perforated continuous sheet, on the basis of the feed holes detected by the feed hole detection sensor at the start of conveyance of the perforated continuous sheet set in an initial state, along a paper conveyance path, so that one perforation of the perforated continuous sheet is located within an initial set area determined in advance on the paper conveyance path. |
