An aspect of the present invention is to provide a desktop electronic flowerpot comprising a flowerpot body and a culture cartridge combined and designed to put and grow a plant on a desk, and if the information about the plant is provided, the desktop electronic flowerpot creates an optimum condition for each plant and enables a user to observe the growth of the plant, thereby recognizing the plant as a companion plant. The desktop electronic flowerpot according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a desktop flowerpot body having an inner side with the opened top and inner space and an outer side which is formed at a location a certain distance off the outer circumference of the inner side so as to form a water storage unit between itself and the inner side; a culture cartridge which is combined with the inner space of the flowerpot body to be detached and in which culture soil for growing a plant is stored; a water supply unit comprising a water absorption means, which is arranged in the inner side of the flowerpot body and the bottom of the outer side so as to receive the water stored in the water storage unit and supply the water to the culture cartridge, and a valve, which is arranged the bottom of the outer side of the flowerpot body so as to connect the water storage unit and the water absorption means; a plant growth information unit providing the information about the condition for growing the plant; and a control device comprising at least one humidity sensor measuring a water content in the culture soil and outputting a sensing signal and a control unit receiving the sensing signal from the humidity sensor based on the information about the condition for growing the plant from the plant growth information unit and opening the valve selectively so as to supply water to the culture cartridge through the water absorption means.
