<p>A central controller of a multi-type air conditioner and a power control method thereof are provided to measure the time for the result of a control command is reflected to power consumption based on the change of power consumption of the air conditioner according to the change of operation states, thereby carrying out power control precisely. A power control method for a central controller of a multi-type air conditioner includes the steps of detecting the power consumption of the air conditioner in the current operation state(SP430), changing the current operation state to a target operation state(SP440), and measuring a delay time based on the power change according to the change of operation states(SP450).</p> |
