<p>An apparatus for removal of the liner of a self-adhesive balancing weight (40) is disclosed. A stripper wheel (31) or stripper belt (33) is rotated in close proximity over the surface of a balancing weight (40), and interacting with the liner (42) and pulling the liner (42) off from the balancing weight (40) by means of a plurality of teeth (36). The speed of the stripper wheel (31) or stripper belt (33) is slightly higher than the speed of motion the balancing weight (40).</p> |
