<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a high heat insulating effect for improving coverage of a vacuum heat insulation material.SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a heat radiation pipe side 18S arranged inside an outer case of a heat insulation box, and a vacuum heat insulation material 21 arranged on an interior side of the heat radiation pipe side. The vacuum heat insulation material has a vertical groove 22a and a lateral groove 22b formed into a recess shape. The radiation pipe side 18S is arranged on the vertical groove 22a and the lateral groove 22b. A chamfering part 25 is formed at front and back lower parts of the vacuum heat insulation material 21 arranged on a side face of the heat insulation box 1. thereby, even when a reinforcing member and the like exist at a lower part of the outer box side face of the heat insulation box, dimension of the vacuum heat insulation material in a downward direction can be maximized while making lateral width to almost maximum dimension of lateral width of the heat insulation box side face, so as to significantly improve coverage of a side face.</p> |
