PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of improving utilization ratio of a recording medium.SOLUTION: The recording apparatus for recording images on a recording medium includes: a notification section for notifying a piece of predetermined information; and a control section that controls the notification section to notify the predetermined information. When an estimated recorded image retention period of the recording medium is shorter than a preset recorded image retention period based on the information recorded on the recording medium, the control section controls the notification section to notify the predetermined information after predetermined period has elapsed from starting a recording. |
