PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection sensor capable of heightening sensitivity and the S/N ratio of three-dimensional ultrasonic flaw detection, and reducing sensor development costs by dispensing with development of a sensor for each test object, and to provide an ultrasonic flaw detection method.SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic flaw detection method, a length d in a parallel direction to an ultrasonic scanning direction of an ultrasonic element excited collectively by one exciter is adjusted by formula: 2dsin&thetas;=nλ (λ: ultrasonic wavelength, n: integer, &thetas;: ultrasonic incident angle) in the range of n=1-2 by using an ultrasonic flaw detection sensor formed by arraying ultrasonic elements two-dimensionally. |
