PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operation sound and achieve low noise of a washing machine.SOLUTION: A control device for a washing machine includes: a control device main unit 112 for controlling an operation of a washing machine; a protection case 111 which is flat and has a shallow bottom and which houses the control device main unit 112, and a protection cover 113; a blower fan 49 able to be changed to an optional rotational frequency; and a cooling fan 114 for performing air circulation to the protection case or the protection cover, and able to be changed to an optional rotational frequency. The cooling fan 114 can reduce operation sound by switching the rotational frequency of the cooling fan to a lower speed during a water supply step, a washing agitation step, a rinsing agitation step and a draining step, thereby, low noise of the washing machine and energy saving can be achieved. |
