PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable and inexpensive AChE and a production fungus thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a microorganism belonging to Burkholderia group and having acetylcholine esterase (AChE) production capability. The invention also provides an AChE inhibitor screening method which calculates a Ki value of an inhibiting candidate substance using the AChE produced by the microorganism. The AChE is produced by the microorganism identified by Accession number FERM P-01684.
