<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and new estimation method of a physical function.SOLUTION: An apparent age of a subject is calculated from a physical function value of the subject and the physical function of the subject is estimated using a single regression formula or a multiple regression formula showing a correlative relationship of the apparent age, a blood vein aging degree or a blood lipid concentration which is a physical function value, and a blood aging point score or a level of oxidized LDL concentration in the blood. A physical function estimation device includes: storage means for storing physical function value correlative data showing a correlative relationship between the apparent age and the physical function value; and physical function value calculating means for calculating the physical function value of the subject by collating the apparent age of the subject with the physical function value correlative data stored in the storage means, and further includes a method of evaluating a substance to improve the physical function value which has a feature in which an improvement effect of the physical function value of a test substance is evaluated, using the improvement effect of the apparent age of the test substance as an index.</p> |
