摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration method of an alkaline secondary battery that is superior to a conventional regeneration method for performing only overcharge of an alkaline secondary battery.SOLUTION: There is provided the regeneration method of the alkaline secondary battery in which a power generating element together with an electrolyte is housed inside a battery case. The method comprises a hydrogen generating step of generating hydrogen in the battery case by controlling the alkaline secondary battery to the overcharged state, a measurement step of measuring a decrease in the electrolyte decreased from the start of use of the secondary alkaline battery till finish of controlling the overcharged state, and an electrolyte injection step that is an electrolyte injection step of supplementing the electrolyte corresponding to the decrease and injecting the electrolyte into the inside of the battery case by disposing the alkaline secondary battery in a humidification tank in which the electrolyte exists in a vapour-phase state under a pressurized atmosphere.</p>
