The purpose of the present invention is to provide a filler metal for TIG welding which has a wide area to inject heat flux when compared to a conventional wire filler metal, and which enables stable welding by increasing a heat input per unit length. To achieve this, the present invention relates to the filler metal for TIG welding, which is continuously supplied to the top of a base metal to be melted by an arc after an electrode is positioned on the top of the base metal; the arc is formed between the electrode and the base metal; and a shielding gas is supplied to a space around the arc. The cross section of the filler metal for TIG welding is bent towards the electrode.
