PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a touch panel, capable of temporarily stopping and restarting scanning during scanning of scanning signal lines.SOLUTION: A display device having a touch panel comprises: plural scanning signal lines Gi that are aligned parallel on one side of a rectangle in a rectangular display area, and to which active potential for conduction of a pixel transistor is applied; a drive pulse output circuit 332 that applies the active potential to the plural scanning signal lines in the display area sequentially; a clock signal output circuit that applies a first clock signal VGp+4 for the drive pulse output circuit 332 to a first clock signal line, and stops application of the first clock signal VGp+4 to the first clock signal line in a stop period in which sequential application of the active potential is stopped at some midpoint; and a touch panel control section that detects a touch to a display surface in the stop period. |
