PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange apparatus which enables reduction in operation costs by reducing the amount of discharge water.SOLUTION: The ion exchange apparatus includes: a pressure tank 2 in which an ion exchange resin floor 211 is accommodated; and circulation control means 510 which controls circulation means 3 such that a water treatment mode, a regeneration mode, and a washing mode are switched at an operation mode switching timing based on predetermined shifting conditions, having a first timing TIM1 for shifting from the water treatment mode to the washing mode and a second timing TIM2 for shifting from the water treatment mode to the regeneration mode as the operation mode switching timing. When the operation mode switching timing becomes the first timing TIM1 in a time zone S allowing for moved-up regeneration prior to the second timing TIM2, the circulation control means 510 controls the circulation means 3 such that the water treatment mode is shifted to the regeneration mode, instead of shifting from the water treatment mode to the washing mode. |
