PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device and input pen that, for example, when they include another electronic apparatus affected by the magnetism, avoid the disturbance of an operation of the another electronic apparatus by blocking the magnetism generated from the input pen for a predetermined time period.SOLUTION: The coordinate input device includes an input pen 10 and a coordinate input unit 12. The input pen 10 includes an electromagnet. The coordinate input unit 12 includes a plurality of magnetic sensors for detecting the state of the magnetic field. The coordinate input device acquires coordinate information of the electromagnet by detecting the magnetism generated from the electromagnet with the magnetic sensors. The input pen 10 includes an electric power blocking device capable of blocking the magnetism generated from the electromagnet for a predetermined time period. |
