The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a health functional food composition, and a sanitary aid composition for preventing, treating, or alleviating rheumatoid arthritis comprising a monoacetyl-diacylglycerol compound as an active ingredient. The monoacetyl-diacylglycerol compound of the present invention is effective in inhibiting phosphorylation of STAT-3 which is known as a treatment target material for rheumatoid arthritis, overcomes side effects of an existing medicine for rheumatoid arthritis, and has no toxicity and is highly effective in the treatment, thereby being usefully applicable as a composition for preventing, treating, and alleviating rheumatoid arthritis.
