The present invention is to provide a light emitting diode package equipped with an auxiliary lead frame protruded to the external part as extended from a first lead frame of two mutually separated lead frames, and a liquid crystal display device using the same. To achieve this, the light emitting diode package according to the present invention comprises: a first lead frame; a second lead frame; at least one light emitting diode chip mounted on the first lead frame or the second lead frame; a mold enclosing the components, and configured so that light outputted from the light emitting diode chip is progressed in a first direction; and an auxiliary lead frame extended from the first lead frame, and protruded to an external part of the mold.
