PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of providing a user with an image converted appropriately depending on the shading of each area in an object image.SOLUTION: An image processing server acquires object data representing an object image TI1 to be converted, and reference data representing a reference image RI. The image processing server calculates a brightness value related to the density of a pixel, for each of a plurality of pixels constituting object data. The image processing server selects a conversion color for a target pixel, by extracting the pixel value of a pixel in the reference data existing at a position corresponding to the position of a target pixel in the object data. The image processing server converts the pixel value of a target pixel so that the higher the density indicated by the brightness value of a target pixel, the closer the pixel value of a converted pixel approaches a value indicating the conversion color for a target pixel. Consequently, converted data representing a converted CI1 is generated.
