<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector in which assemble workability of a mat seal can be improved and stable waterproofness can be ensured.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector 1 comprises: a housing 10; a mat seal 20; and a terminal 30. The housing 10 comprises: a terminal housing chamber 11; a mat seal housing chamber 12; and a locking hole 13. The mat seal 20 comprises: a mat seal body 40 having an electric wire insertion hole 41 and an outer seal lip 42; and a shape retaining member 50 which is integrated or integrally formed with the mat seal body 40 and has a bonding part 51, a flange 52, and a plurality of locking projections 53. When the mat seal 20 is locked and fixed to an appropriate position in the mat seal housing chamber 12, the outer seal lip 42 and an inner wall of the mat seal housing chamber 12 come into contact with each other so that the outer seal lip 42 is pressed in the inner direction. This ensures the waterproofness between the housing 10 and the mat seal 20.</p> |
