PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing an electrode, improving impregnation properties of an electrolyte while preventing local deterioration in an electrode; an apparatus for manufacturing an electrode; an electrode; and a nonaqueous secondary battery.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrode includes: a first press step of pressing an electrode at first temperature, the electrode including an active material layer formed on at least one surface of a sheet-like collector; and a second press step of pressing the electrode at second temperature higher than the first temperature, the electrode having been pressed during the first press step.
