PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently emit a freshness keeping component to a storage space.SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises: a box-shaped storage chamber 13 having a side wall, a back wall, an upper wall and a bottom wall; a cover member 16 for opening/closing the storage chamber 13; pressure reduction means 12 for making pressure of the storage chamber 13 lower than atmospheric pressure; and freshness keeping means 17 arranged in the storage chamber 13 of the cover member 16 and keeping freshness of a storage material. A suction port of the pressure reduction means 12 is formed at any of a rear part of a center of the side wall, a rear part of a center of the upper wall, a rear part of a center of the bottom wall, and the back wall. |
