PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drainage performance and noise performance in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has main grooves 3 provided at a tread portion 2. Each of the main grooves 3 has a first groove wall 10, a second groove wall 11 and a groove bottom 12 on a cross section. The groove bottom 12 includes a protruding portion 13 protruding outside in a tire radial direction. The protruding portion 13 is continuous along the main groove 3. In the protruding portion 13, a width W3 in a direction perpendicular to a groove center line G1 of the main groove 3 is 50%-100% of groove width of the main groove 3. In the protruding portion 13, the cross-sectional area of the protruding portion 13 protruding outside in the tire radial direction from a virtual groove bottom 12A connecting linearly an inner end 10i of the first groove wall to an inner end 11j of the second groove wall is 3%-15% of the groove cross-sectional area of the main groove 3. |
