PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter which improves defects that an optical filter such as a conventional near-infrared cut filter has, and is excellent in transmittance characteristics and light resistance, and an apparatus using the optical filter.SOLUTION: An optical filter has a transparent resin substrate containing a compound (A) which includes anion and cyanine-based cation and is represented by the formula (I), and a near-infrared ray reflecting film formed on at least one surface of the substrate. |
