PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electric brake apparatus allowing easy bending of a power line that interconnects a vehicular body side and a wheel side electrically.SOLUTION: An electric brake apparatus, for use in generating braking torque in a wheel by pressing a friction member onto a rotary member fixed to the wheel by using drive torque of a motor MTR, includes: a vehicular body power source BBD for use in supplying power to the motor that is fixed to a vehicle body; and a wheel power source BWH for use in supplying power to the motor that is fixed to the wheel. The vehicular body power source BBD supplies the wheel power source BWH with power via a first electric path (PBD+PWH), while the wheel power source BWH supplies the motor MTR with power via a second electric path (PWH). In the case of generating braking torque in a wheel, the motor MTR is driven normally by using the wheel power source BWH. |
