PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent mechanical characteristics and excellent granulating properties such as kneadability or extrudability, a flame-retardant silane-crosslinkable resin composition which has good heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, and flame retardancy and is suppressed in gelation and a method for producing thereof, and to provide a molded body having excellent heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, flame retardancy and appearance, an electric wire and a cable and a method for producing thereof.SOLUTION: There are provided: a resin composition which comprises 10 to 100 pts.mass of a thioether-based antioxidant and 10 to 120 pts.mass of a benzoimidazole-based antioxidant based on 100 pts.mass of a resin component composed of a polyolefin-based resin and/or an ethylene-based copolymer composed of ethylene and substituted ethylene; a flame-retardant silane-crosslinkable resin composition and a method for producing thereof; a molded body; and an electric wire and a cable and a method for producing thereof.
