<p>The present invention relates to a molded case circuit breaker. More specifically, the present invention relates to a molded case circuit breaker including at least one wire interrupt unit and an alarming unit. The wire interrupt unit is installed on a power transmission line connecting distributed power sources with a commercial power system so as to transmit, to the commercial power system, power generated from the distributed power sources including a solar module, and when an abnormal state occurs in the power transmission line, interrupts the power transmission line and outputs an interrupt signal. The alarming unit is connected to the wire interrupt unit to inform a user of interruption of the power transmission line when the interrupt signal output from the wire interrupt unit is received. The molded case circuit breaker has the benefit of preventing an accident which may occur in the commercial power system and distributed power systems by quickly separating, from the commercial power system, the distributed power sources being operated by being connected with the commercial power system when an abnormal state occurs in the commercial power system or an abnormality occurs in the distributed power systems. In addition, when the distributed power sources being operated by being connected with the commercial power system are separated therefrom since an abnormal state occurs in a conventional commercial power system, the molded case circuit breaker immediately informs a manager or a user that the commercial power system and the distributed power sources are separated from each other, thereby enabling switch action.</p> |
