The present invention relates to a main fire extinguishing equipment room and an LNG FPSO having the same and, more specifically, to a main fire extinguishing equipment room and the LNG FPSO having the same to secure accessibility and operational stability in the event of fire by arranging the main fire extinguishing equipment room, which takes up a lot of space, in a machinery space with enough space instead of a main deck; and to secure an installation space of a production facility module and a lay-down area by making better use of a space on the main deck. According to the present invention, the main fire extinguishing equipment room of the LNG FPSO is arranged in the machinery space under the main deck.
