<p>The present invention relates to a device and a method for monitoring a pedestrian which receive an image taken by a camera device; check the existence of a pedestrian by analyzing the taken image; receive, from a near field communication base station, identification information of terminals positioned in a near field communication area of the near field communication base station, which are collected by the near field communication base station; determine whether the pedestrian is a monitoring target using the analysis information of the taken image and the collected identification information; generate monitoring information about the pedestrian determined as the monitoring target; and transmit the generated monitoring information to a monitoring server.</p> |
