PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell system capable of reducing the possibility that power generation output to a load becomes insufficient while reducing the necessity to supply water from outside.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell system comprises: a solid oxide fuel cell 6 which includes an anode 2 and a cathode 4 and performs power generation reaction between a hydrogen-containing gas supplied to the anode and an oxygen-containing gas supplied to the cathode; a tank 12 which stores water recovered from the offgas discharged from the solid oxide fuel cell; an evaporator 13 which generates steam using the water supplied from the tank; a reformer 8 which generates a hydrogen-containing gas using a raw material and the steam supplied from the evaporator; a supplier 10 which supplies at least one of the raw material and the oxygen-containing gas; and a controller 14 which increases a dew point of the offgas by adjusting the amount of supply of at least one of the raw material and the oxygen-containing gas by controlling the supplier when the water level of the tank lowers.
